JAVA Presentation

I was at Paul Padgett's JAVA launch last Saturday night and Paul asked me to go in front of a video camera in his studio at his beautiful home to record a quick JAVA presentation that he could circulate to his team. We both liked the result and wanted to share this short JAVA presentation with the entire Asantae team for both sharing with prospects and training for existing members. Enjoy!!!

Updated SAMPLING training

As we approach the most important business launch of our business life together…the launch of JAVA on January 19th, we are focusing on a few key moments that will make all the difference in generating success.

Moment #1: Sampling

Moment #2: The Presentation

Moment #3: The Call to Action

If you gain more experience in handling these moments and get more and comfortable and gifted in them, you will generate better and better results.

We can help you accelerate your skill set in these areas by studying or ‘modeling’ success. This will be a critical and fun focus in the weeks ahead.

Let’s start with the Sampling program because after all, it is the single moment that produces all the rest. If you can take your initial 40 JAVA Samples and turn them into JAVA Pack sales and team development, you are off and running!!!

Then when you sign up for the JAVA Sampling Lead generation Monthly program, you will get not only enough healthy JAVA to drink, but you also get 20 or 30 more Samples which you will turn each and every month into Doubler Bonus dollars and more and more team development, hence residual income.

Let’s get to it…let’s get great at Sampling!

And let’s begin with a discussion about QUESTIONS!

But first a little conversation about SCRIPTS. When we share scripts…scripts to Sample, scripts to Present, scripts to ‘Call to Action’, we don’t mean ROTE scripting (As in read these scripts, memorize them and spew them forward like a robot-scripts).

We share ‘scripts’ as guidelines. As models to work with and customize, tailor or tweak to meet the needs of the individual in front of YOU!

Now on to Questions…questions are powerful communication tools because they have the capability to do 3 important things.

• When you ask a question BEFORE giving a presentation or a spiel, you build rapport. It’s just more courteous and makes the person you are communicating to, GRATEFUL!! Happy to be engaged in a conversation with you!

• When you ask a question BEFORE giving a presentation, you earn not only rapport but also the ability to pick up information about the person that will allow you to tailor or customize your remarks/presentation. A BIG winner in communication for sure!!

• And, lastly, asking the RIGHT question allows you to gently create a receptive ‘state-of-mind’ for your presentation (remember this STATE issue later, there’s a neat application of this, I want to discuss with you at the conclusion of this brief training piece).

In the Sampling process, we have 2 key questions that you need to ask EVERY time!!

• Do you drink coffee?

• And could you use some extra money?

Obviously, the first is easy and a whole bunch of fun. When you find someone who loves coffee and you essentially tell them:

• It’s good for you!
• It’s full of antioxidants!
• I’ve got the BEST!! (Healthy Roast Process)

These elements make for a FUN and WINNING conversation!

The next question is really the important question BECAUSE again, we are SAMPLING coffee NOT to make friends or customers but to make a coffee distribution channel explode!!!

You are simply attempting to see if someone has a MOTIVATION to make MORE money. And, you want to LISTEN more than talk!

Now some people really NEED to make an extra 200 dollars a month right now…and others need and expect to be able to make an extra 2000 thousand. Some folks love business, others don’t. Some folks consider themselves marketing or sales-orientated, and others would rather dance on shards of glass than think of themselves selling something.

By asking ANY variation of ‘would extra money next month come in handy?’, you begin to figure out if someone will be open to the Asantae JAVA business platform.

And, after decades of doing this work, teaching this work and loving this work, there is ONLY a model, not any hard fast script that fits everybody.

Here are some proven guidelines:

• If you know someone, you have a chance to customize the question enough to generate more rapport. So when I call up my mother-in-law to make a JAVA presentation, I might say…”are you too busy or too rich to need more money, or should I go on?”

I know she has an outrageous sense of humor and loves home-based business. I know that asking her the question this way, will make her laugh and we are off to the races.

• If you are talking to someone with 500 dollar shoes, you might want to aim a little higher. If given the opportunity to make a presentation to Donald Trump, I wouldn’t ask “would an extra 200 dollars make a difference in your life next month?”

I might ask, “Do you have the time or the inclination to launch another billion dollar campaign into the world’s second largest market segment?”

• If you are talking to someone you don’t know a lot, which will happen often with the JAVA SAMPLING program, you are better off keeping the question ‘general’ or ‘open-ended’.

“Are you open to making more money next month, or do you have enough?”

When you pose an open-ended question and then LISTEN, not talk, you can pick up incredible information that will allow you to both evaluate someone’s motivation and then make your presentation consistent with THEIR needs and motivation!

These tips are simple to use and make a profound difference!

When you ask these 2 questions with these tips in your mind, you will have:

• More FUN
• Make more FRIENDS
• And make more JAVA Pack Sales!

Presentation Success...first of 10,000 to follow!

YEAH TEAM!!!

Memphis Asantae team leader Tim Jones just hit pay dirt, again. As some of you know, Tim caught the JAVA vision early and has been running successful JAVA meetings for a few weeks already. He has received great feedback about the JAVA but had not formally launched his JAVA initiative till he got JAVA, Samples and the new training program.

Last night, Tim hosted the FIRST of the new JAVA meetings, following the game plan perfectly.

I will now paraphrase:

"We hosted the meeting in a beautiful condo complex in Memphis. One of my Asantae affiliates invited about 5-7 friends. We put some mellow jazz on and roasted JAVA!! The sounds and the smell created a neat and warm mood. We drank coffee and chatted and started at 15 past the hour."

"I put three words on the white board in the living room:

Size of Market
Antioxidants
Healthy Roast Process

I gave a brief personal introduction and then spent less than 15 minutes speaking to the 3 issues on the board...people were fascinated."

"But the best part was yet to come. I put two more words on the board: money and samples. I then brought out the samples and held one to my chest and asked some from the audience to come up for a role play."

I said that I would show everyone how powerful our lead generation sampling program is!

I told the person in front of me that I had a special gift for them but had to ask two questions first.

"Did they drink coffee and would an extra 500-1000 dollars next month be of any interest to them?"

"We had fun with the answers, fun with the role playing and then I turned to the audience and asked if they thought they could pass out delicious pots of antioxidant coffee and ask those two questions every time. Everyone smiled and said emphatically YES!"

"I then leveraged this into a close, sharing the power of the Doubler and the Sampling program."

Tim reports that they sold AT LEAST 3 JAVA Packs!!

More importantly, brother Tim reports that this was easy, fun and everyone felt that they could not only sample, ask the two questions but also host and give this meeting.

I smell more than JAVA, I smell DUPLICATION!!

Congrats to Tim, we know that his Memphis meeting on the 19th will be HUGE and HUGELY successful.

A Grand Beginning: JAVA!!!

Hi, Asantae Team Leaders,

I am so excited to be part of this team. I love coaching and I love success stories. I am here first and foremost to make success happen for you.

We have a game plan, or more accurately, a recipe for success!!

Here's the recipe:

Put JAVA in a pot, add the 'Doubler', stir, then add a good handful of Samples (the Lead Generation program) and voila, the TASTIEST dish on the planet. A feast that will keep feeding all of us abundantly forever.

And every game plan needs a strategy and some short term benchmarks or goals.

The strategy is to produce a simple presentation that EVERYONE can give effectively!

On January 19th, we all work together to put together MANY, MANY presentations. When they are in YOUR house or home office, they are gatherings...when they are larger in hotel rooms, these presentations are seminars.

We are looking for leaders who can put 50 people in a room by January 19th!

We call these A city seminars.

If you feel confident that you can make this happen, just get back to me here at the blog and we will contact you right away.

So far, there will be A city seminars in:

Atlanta
Memphis
Los Angeles
Hawaii
Minneapolis

At these meetings, we will have JAVA Packs in the back of the room!!! And as a company we are pitching in to support these meetings!

We will let you know the details about these meetings soon.

We also know that there are at least 20 B city home presentations already planned!!

Here's the simple plan:

We want to make B meetings become A meetings!

And we want to make A meetings become HUBS. A HUB city will have regular meetings and trainings, host regional events and have plenty of JAVA PACKS on hand to generate sales and momentum.

I see it as my job to help those of you who are a touch timid to do B presentations...get you good enough to qualify for A seminar presentations and turn our A cities into vibrant HUBS!!

By focusing on a simple plan, we will support incredible growth and abundance RAPIDLY in the first quarter of 2010!!!

Are you ready to be a B, an A or a HUB? Just say YES, Coach Jay

And by the way, keep coming here, with questions, success stories and growth strategies, I know I will.

In a few moments, I will post a GREAT success story from our leader in Memphis, Tim Jones!! Come back later to enjoy!
